987FM to scout for new “Radio Star” on campus

987 Radio StarPopular radio station 987FM will soon be searching for their next radio personality in schools around Singapore.

In its third year running, the nationwide competition, Radio Star, will be holding auditions from next week onwards at schools such as NTU’s Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.

Selected contestants will be mentored by 987FM radio personalities Rosalyn Lee, Bobby Tonelli, Justin Ang and Vernon Anthonisz.

The radio station will broadcast Radio Star on their YouTube channel, as part of a new segment called 987TV.

After rounds of elimination and public voting, five finalists will battle it out to win over
$10,000 worth of prizes. The winner of Radio Star will also land a contract with 987FM.

More details will be released by 987FM shortly.

Date: Wednesday, 28 Aug 2013

Time: 11am to 3pm(11am-3pm)

Venue: Level 4 Meeting Room (04-09), Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information
