Age : 26 years old
Sport: (ISG) Floorball, Race Relay, Captain’s Ball / (IHG) Hockey and Takraw
Training regime: For floorball, I have court and physical training (core strengthening) thrice and once a week respectively when competitions draw nearer. My trainings are usually on weekdays and are meant to prepare me for league games outside school during the weekends. These physical trainings double up as training for the race relay event and I actually played takraw in secondary school. Thankfully, I did not have to learn the game from scratch. I don’t normally have a personal fitness regime as the training I already have is sufficient. When I’m free, I play futsal with my friends or jog at East Coast Park on weekend mornings.
Diet: I am one of those people who don’t watch my diet. I believe I deserve to eat some of my favourite food like nasi lemak and mee soto. However, I tend to be more disciplined by avoiding unhealthy and fast food a few months before competitions.
Motivation to keep fit: Floorball is not a sport where you can win with fancy skills and strong shots. I am not really good at my basic ball handling skill, so I try to make it up with physique.

Age: 20
Sport : (ISG) Tennis/ (IHG) NIL
Training regime: On usual days, I try to play tennis at least one to two times a week. Closer to the IHG season, I can be playing tennis up to five times a week. Mostly, I play with my doubles partner and he tries to help me with my groundstrokes and serves. I used to be from canoeing and dragon boating in National Junior College, and we trained about six times a week and twice a day. Upon entering university, I took things slow and played tennis recreationally because it can get tiring. I don’t run intensively anymore, but I still go for marathons, like the Great Eastern Women’s Run, with my sister once a year.
Diet: I don’t restrict myself to a particular diet, I like seafood and meat in general. I go big on steak, grilled seafood and aglio olio. But I try to make sure I don’t skip any meals because I believe that eating is the most important thing to train well.
Motivation to keep fit: I’ve always enjoyed sports and that makes me look forward to exercising a little bit more. But also, I believe that having the passion for your sport is a strong motivator to strive further and to keep fit.

Age: 23
Sport: (IHG) Soccer / (ISG): NIL
Training regime: I train three times a week and play a match each weekend. Occasionally, I jog or swim at home on days when I do not have training just to keep active. When I have time, I like to improve on my ball work and technical skills.
Diet: I don’t count calories nor follow a strict diet but I eat heavy (pasta), for the energy, on days leading up to competition.
Motivation to keep fit: I just want to do well for my soccer. I always strive to give my best for my team and for personal satisfaction.
