Ice hockey is not a rough or dangerous sport by nature, as sports writer Jacqueline Lim finds out during a training session with the Singapore Ice Hockey Women’s team at the ice skating rink at JCube mall. She also learned that ice hockey was one of the best ways to pick up ice skating, as beginners like her tend to focus more on the puck than maintaining their balance, hence speeding up the learning process.
